Where is Moonstone Salon located?
Moonstone Salon is located at 1270 SW Parrish Street Suite C. Lake Oswego, OR 97034. Your GPS should take you directly to our parking lot. We are located right behind Anytime Fitness and Cathedral Coffee.
When is your salon open?
Moonstone Salon is open for appointments Monday through Friday, 8am to 8pm and Saturday 10am to 5pm. We are closed on Sundays. While we do accept walk-ins, we always recommend calling ahead or using our online booking option to make an appointment.
Do you have free parking?
Yes! We have ample free parking in the lot directly in front of the salon.
What about kiddos?
While we love children, we kindly request that any children under 12 years of age have an accompanying adult at all times. For young teens, we request that an adult be present during the consultation to consent to the service.

How can I book an appointment?

What is your cancellation policy?
We ask that any appointment be cancelled or rescheduled at least 24 hrs in advance. If an appointment is no-showed or canceled within the 24 hour window we will charge a $50 booking fee to schedule the next appointment.
What should I schedule for?
If you are unsure of what to schedule for, feel free to text or call the salon at (971)413-0756 and our manager or stylists can help guide you in booking the correct hair service!
What if I'm late for my appointment?
If you are running late please give us a call or text at 971-413-0756. If you are running 15+ minutes late your stylist may not be able to perform the service and the appointment will be counted as a no show. This is case by case. Please contact us ASAP if you feel you might be late to your appointment :)
Service FAQs
Should I come with dirty hair?
We actually reccommend washing hair the evening prior to your color service if you can, but if its been a few days since your last wash--no worries! The most important thing is that there isn't too much product buildup. All haircuts and color services (with the exception of a dry cut) include a wash.
What is a long vs a short haircut?
A long haircut is anything below the shoulders. A short haircut is anything above the shoulders.
What is a dry haircut?
A dry haircut is exactly what it sounds like :) The hair will be cut dry and when booking a dry cut, we ask that you arrive with clean, dry hair. This service does not include a wash/style.
What is the difference between a hairline foil and a partial?
A hairline foil (also known as a "money piece & tone") is lightening just around the front hairline and middle parting of the hair. This service is meant to be a hold-over between larger lightening services and is 15 foils or less.

A Partial highlight or balayage includes lightening half of the head (usually ears up). This service is usually used as a maintenance appointment between larger appointments.
Aftercare & More
Can I wash my hair after my service?
We reccommend waiting at least 24-48hrs after receiving any color service before washing. When you do wash, we reccommend using sulfate-free or color-safe salon grade products. We carry a variety of amika and K18 shampoo that are all colorsafe and perfect for keeping hair healthy and vibrant!
What should I wear for my appointment?
We recommend wearing something older and comfortable without a collar or hood. Layering can also be helpful. We always do our best to keep chemicals, hair, and water away from your clothing, but it's best to wear something that you wouldn't mind getting dirty just to be safe.
Do any of your stylists offer extensions?
Yes! We have a couple of stylists that offer extensions. If you are interested in extension services, please book an extension consultation via our booking link.
